it crashs

why does the server crash so often?
after playin clean sweep schildmann tried to load karkand, and it crashed.:o
i think it crashes all the times the admin loads(chooses) a map..
connection broke, we connected another time, voted karkand (we were just doppelmax and i) karkand loaded, but then at the start, it crashed another time:eek:.
whats the problem?

It does seem to crash a LOT more frequently when a change to the maplist is requested, so why not just play all the maps? I'm pretty close to just removing the ingame admins' ability to change the map simply because I see the same maps being loaded over and over and over.

Just play the maplist . . . .

I have a possible solution to the crashing problems that seem to have come along with the switch to windows on the game server, but it will require a little more time than I have to kill right now. If I find out my idea is not possible, I'll have the game server switched back to linux in the next couple weeks.

youre right if it then works without those crashes would be very cool. like today, when i wrote the thread, there was a cool group of players doin good work.. after the crashes, we ended 2 guys the third time in clean sweep..it was horrible, but if you put out the admin function then hope you can find some time to kill the problem in the near future. couse much times i just have an hour or two and i just dont like to wait the whole maplist to play my favorite, usually it doesnt matter, but if am alone there with just one other guy/friend for example, it sucks a lil bit not to be able...

is it possible to repeat maps in a round? so you could make a round with 2 times kark, one time ?? 2t....
