I recently was on an AIX2 conquest server playing on the map where you start at Railyards & push towards the Radar Station (EU vs PLA)
I was on EU team & played Engineer kit (M14), the 4 other guys on my team were snipers. (giggle). I explained to them that I normally played co-op & that it was my 1st conquest game on AIX2. "What good are bots?" they scoffed.
I grabbed a buggy & took Farm flag, they messaged "Come back & let them come to us".
"I play a better way" was my response.
I continued on to Gas Station Flag got it neutral when I spied an enemy vehicle coming with the binos. Having already AT mined around the flag while neutralising it, I popped a timed C4 on the flag & 1 on each building (left & right side) leading back to the supply point & 1 on the supplies.
The enemy rolled up to the flag & dis-embarked, I nailed the 1st one out with my trusty Ruger M14 (from prone between the buildings) before they swiss cheesed me.
As I waited to spawn, I was credited with 3 C4 time-bomb kills in a row 3 seconds apart. That wiped out the entire enemy contingent, I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.
I was then auto-kicked for a high ping.
My only regret is I never got to say "That's what fighting bots can do for your game. Team Nitro - a better place to play"
