Got a new toy today - for free too ! Gonna try it out right now - I'm sure it will take some getting used to. Been playing BF2 since the day it was released with keyboard, mouse and joystick. I have a really cool gamepad - Gravis Eliminator - has like 20 buttons on it, two proportional sticks and a pad, but I could never get used to it with first person shooters. Been playing with the keyboard too long I guess. I'm really gonna give this thing a try though because I'm tired of diving on a fallen team mate thinking thet I have my defibrilator out but in fact I'm holding a grenade. Usually I notice before I hit the mouse button to use it at least.

Oh this is just horrible.
Might as well be learning to play the game all over again.

I bought a game pad (Nostromo n52) several months ago. It took a few days to get the keys the way I want them to but only a couple of days plying until now I can't live without it. I set up a macro so that with one key I go prone and pull out the shock paddles. Very useful because I too have naded myself and my patient in an attempt to perform a life saving shock. Talk about shocks!

I don't know what they call these things - but I'm calling mine "History"!
Been playing this game too long to start sucking again, even if it is just for a little while. Sorry bout that nade in the bunker the other night LG. I thought I was bouncing a med pack off your head but right after I hit the mouse button I saw the nade in my hand and tried to throw it out the door, but as you saw, that was completely futile.

I'm playing tonight, but not til I spend an hour getting the keyboard back the way I like it.
