Gymkhana anyone? GTA IV vid I made.

FYI: Gymkhana is a drifting motor sport to get through an 'obstacle' course as fast as you can with the fewest amount of mistakes possible.

Just in case you didn't know that, if you read my introduction you may remember me saying, directing editing videos is a bit of a hobby.
I also like modding the crap out of GTA IV and playing it ofcourse.

So I used it's buggy as hell video editor and my drift mod to make a Gymkhana video :3

It's nothing too pretty, only took me about 6 hours driving and editing. Basically testing how realistic I was able to make my drift mod and how nice it would look in a video.

Figured I share my hobbies since I plan on sticking around the awesomness of this community.

The gameplay looks like it's a bit clunky. The angles of the drifts, and how it snaps back into grip implies it's an AWD. Great job editing though!

I was particularly impressed that you believe (like myself) that a great video can be made without the "Kill your mama, kill your papa, or **** this, **** that soundtrack.

Editing the handling of the cars is difficult in that game it's basically trial and error as the values of everything are not realistic. Example, upping mass would make your car heavier slower and harder to maneuver, when in gta 4 when you up the mass all it does is make you plow through anything but with the same speed and handling values, it's weird lol.
I'm trying to get this drift mod juuust right as other ones people put out on mod site well, suck, as they're unrealistic.

yea me and fish play that on multiplayer free roam sometimes, some really funny moments. Me- "Im just gonna apologize now man" Fish-"Why? Oh what the....." As he gets blown off the crane where we were hiding after i dropped a grenade a little short LOL

The power of a trainer helped my tires not blow lol, I keep the damage on though, may have noticed the headlights out in some scenes that I re did as it's not a true gymkhana xD

Ken block is the epic that layers Gymkhana to it's awesomeness of what Gymkhana is. Or something similar along those lines.

That guy in the go kart nearly got destroyed in the second video I was like GEEZUS!

I'm sure I seen a Ken block car mod somewhere for GTA IV, but I'm also sure someone already rocked that video as well.
