Hi Ladies and Gentlemen:)
It's been brought to our attention that their is a platoon named TEAM NITRO ROCKS with a group of our regulars. this platoon is not sanctioned by Team Nitro and those wearing the Team Tag (that are not current clan members) are considered impersonating clan members and is not appreciated or accepted by Team Nitro. my guess is that it all was unintentionally meant so lets not focus on people feeling bad or hurt...let's focus on the solution.
There are several things to consider in this matter.
- Team Nitro is Owned and Run by Steve (Kilemal)
- we may have the pleasure of playing on the servers and help support it because we love what it stands for but it is not ours to make choices on, it is the owners job.
- By this group saying it is team nitro and having an official site linking them to Team-Nitro.com presents itself as a office part of Team Nitro (and this is not the case)
- It was also noted that those in the group feel it appropriate to wear the [Team] Tag even though they are not Team Nitro Clan members.
- lets look at this a little
- team nitro is enjoyable place to play because the non tolerance for hacks or dis-respectfulness , a team environment (friendly and helpful- not just out for own gain) and superior expectations of players skill and attitude.
- Clan tags are something that are handed out because that specific player has shown exceptional qualities both in the game and in vent. The [Team] Tag means something also identifies admin and specifically clan members of Team Nitro. when a player wears this tag with the knowledge that they are not a clan member it is not only disrespectful to the group but also over stepping authority.
- Also when a new clan member receives the ability to wear this tag it is something that Steve agrees with and the clan members vote on to bring them in.
- the way this platoon is set up everyone in the group is able to wear the team tag and miss represent what Team Nitro Stands for. the clan members that are chosen to wear the tag have it because they have shown the ability to uphold the standard of the tag.
So without further ado we ask that you please Change the name and tag. if you would like to say you are the ROCKS or some else or even the TN ROCKS I don't think steve would have a problem with that...if so I apologize...i'm guessing about this part. Any of those players on your list or people you add could go to other places and misrepresent the standards of this place that make it so enjoyable to play at. and that isn't saying anything mean about all the people that are there because their are some good people there but there are a lot of people that i don't recognize and some other problems that i can't discuss.
Again we're sure it wasn't meant to be a slight but we would appreciate your action in this matter so their isn't confusion. if their is a group that u want to start so you can still play with Team Nitro players u r free to post a invite on the forums to invite those around.
