Well if it is memory issue then maybe this will help. Hit your ALT/ctrl/ and delete key (in game, just hit your tab/alt yo get to the dask top). To see how much memory you are using.

Remember with XP you should run with BF2 more than 2bg and Vista more than 3gb.
