Anyone use this or know of anything that helps their gaming on bf2. I've always used a keyboard and mouse, but at times I find it to slow for changing weapons and other actions in the game. If my mouse had more buttons I think it would be great but it don't. I know there is also a bf2 keyboard, but not sure if it would be much better then the Fang Professional Gaming Pad or what I'm using now. Anyhow just wanted to get some input from some of you. Any correspondence would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks michcom1, I appreciate the info and link! I seen both the Zboard and the fang before, and just wanting some feedback on either one. The Z board has more buttons and the Fang has some buttons on the side sorta like my mouse, so I was debating both of them. I see you have to get the zboard and the keyset for bf2 seperate or in a packaged deal. Looks like a nice toy to play with! Together on amazon they are 69.98 (19.99 for bf2 keyset and 49.99 for zbaord). Thanks for your input! I certainly appreciate it!

I have that exact gamepad DG - but I gave up on it in a few days. Didn't have enough keys, couldn't remember where the keys were, etc, etc . . .
Been playing with the m&k for too long I guess.

If you wanna try it send me a pm with ur name and address and i'll drop it in the mail.

I'm using the keyboard "Logitech G15" and a Logitech mouse "mx518".
Both are high quality products and perfect for my needs.
I dont like these specialized keyboards, cause i always remap the "go forward" key to the letter "S" and backward to "Y" (german layout, "Z" with english layout).
Why?
Very simple, most of the time i run forward, so its easier to press and hold the "S" key. :-)

I use a Belkin N52. It cost me $18 when I bought it but without digging deep the only one I came up with at newegg is their tournament edition for $70. I use it for all games, saving various profiles, one for each game. It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I would have problems using a keyboard and mouse. The main advantages are weapons changes, reloading and macros for things like "draw shock paddles, go prone, shock" all as a single key press.

Thanks, thats real cool of you to offer. I'm starting to wonder If I could get use to using it. I have heard it takes weeks to get use to it, and i'm not sure if I would have the patience for it, but still interested in it. The main reason was becuase it was cheaper then some of the other options I was looking at and I'm looking for cheap right now.

I like that keyboard! I just got done watching a video on Youtube that was all about it. Very nice! I have the same mouse as you and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Somtimes the cord bothers me, but I don't want to go wireless. Thanks for the info. The keyboard might be a possible investment down the road. I wish they made one where the keys split apart half way on the board. I think the design is called ergonomic. I'm so use to it that when I use a non-ergonomic keyboard it takes me a lot longer to type on them. My current keyboard has a coulple of buttons sticking like the flare button (x) and the left button (a) and thats a problem! Thanks for the info.

I've seen these before and always wondered about them. I too could only find the tournament edition but still need to do some more digging. $70 is pretty pricey and if I spend that much I'm thinking maybe a gaming keyboard would be worth trying as my keyboard is wearing down at the moment. What you describe as far as the macros and being able to draw shock paddles and do other things is exactly what I'm looking for, so I'm still interested in it. I think if my mouse had 3 more buttons and I had a new ergonomic keyboard I would be satisfied.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!! I really like the zboard and might be aiming toward it without the extra BF2 keyset thats another $20. It seems like it would work similar without the keyset and I could always add it later. The fang got my interest becuase It's CHEAP!!! I might have to check out Kilemal. Anyhow thank you all for taking the time to tell me what you use or reccomend. I certainly appreciate it. It might also help some others that are interested in the same topic. Anybody else who might have some info feel free to share it!

Thanks,
